Sr Program Manager

Description

Peak Nano Optics has an opening for an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate customer (governmental and commercial) programs. The qualified candidate would manage program budgets and resource allocation and must have the interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of professionals across different disciplines (R&D, engineering, finance and business) to identify risks and resolve conflicts for the successful completion of a program. The candidate must be detail oriented and drive the accomplishment of tactical milestones to reach project/program objectives while ensuring they are aligned with the company’s strategy. In addition, the ideal candidate will be involved in the development of new strategies and will also be responsible for the writing of program funding proposals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field

• 5+ years of Program Management experience

• Proven knowledge of finance/budget management

• Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills

• US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Masters’s in Engineering

• 8+ years of Program Management experience

• Manufacturing experience

• PMP certification

• Proficiency with MS Project or Smartsheets

• Familiarization of Government systems such as SAM.gov, WAWF, and others required to manage governmental programs
