Applications Administrator I

Description

We are looking for a Applications Administrator to join our growing IT department. The Applications Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the end users of our ERP systems as well as daily tasks in maintaining our compliance milestones. Applications Administrator responsibilities include monitoring system performance and daily support of the Peak ERP system. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with one or more ERP systems and be ready to assist Peak in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system. This role also plays a key part of achieving and maintaining Peak Nanosystems NIST and CMMC compliance as required by the United State Department of Defense. Ultimately, you will ensure our ERP systems runs smoothly and our end users have the best possible experience using our compute systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Peak ERP system and the required infrastructure

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with the ERP system

• Train new system users and set up their accounts

• Provide daily end user support of the ERP system

• Compliance & remediation activities associated with NIST 800-171 and CMMC V.2

• Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications

• Update technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

• Industry certifications in relevant technologies

• 2 – 4 years’ experience supporting and maintaining one or more Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• 2 – 4 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience creating and maintaining both technical and non-technical documentation

• Experience with remediation of identified compliance risks

• US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language

• Experience with NIST and CMMC frameworks and associated compliance initiatives
