    Manufacturing Technician I – System Assembly

    Description

    Peak Nano is seeking a Junior-level Manufacturing Technician who can safely and efficiently operate automated equipment and complete manual production operations as needed on a brand-new lens assembly production line.

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Escalate safety problems or concerns immediately.

    • Diligently follow work instructions for kitting, putting together lens assemblies, purging, sealing, running automated optical tests, and packaging finished products.

    • Identify, log, and escalate issues impacting quality and production goals as they occur.

    • Share continuous improvement ideas and participate in improvement projects.

    • Perform necessary housekeeping to support system assembly operations.

    Required Qualifications

    • US Citizenship

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • 18+ months in a manufacturing environment

    • Ability to handle up to 50 pounds with physical dexterity

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere.

    • Effective verbal communication skills.

    • Eagerness to learn new tasks, skills, concepts and applications.
