Manufacturing Technician I – Cleanroom

Description

Peak Nano is seeking a Junior-level Manufacturing Technician who can safely and efficiently operate automated equipment and complete manual production operations as needed in an ISO class 7 clean room. Other responsibilities include:

  • Report safety problems or concerns immediately

  • Continuously monitor all aspect of equipment operation and production to ensure quality is maintained and production goals are met

  • Troubleshoot issues impacting quality and production goals to ensure defects are detected, not passed on, and that resolution steps are taken

  • Escalate issues and share recommendations and solutions

  • Write and revise standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed

  • Perform necessary housekeeping to support clean room operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5+ years in manufacturing or 3+ years of military service

  • Ability to handle up to 50 pounds with physical dexterity to operate the equipment

  • Ability to maintain charts, graphs, and production reports in Word and Excel

  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Technical Certificate or higher

  • Eagerness to learn new tasks, skills, concepts and applications

  • Attention to detail and strong visual inspection skills

  • Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
