Manufacturing Supervisor (2nd shift) - Cleanroom

Description

Peak Nano has an immediate need for a Cleanroom Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift. Peak Nano is focused on developing and delivering innovative, disruptive solutions to the optical lens market. You will lead a team of 2nd shift Cleanroom Technicians as a player/coach to operate a brand-new state of the art automated process in a clean, climate-controlled environment. 
Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the team safely and efficiently operates automated equipment and completes manual production operations as needed in an ISO class 5 clean room

• Resolve or escalate safety problems or concerns immediately whether related to the equipment or the team members

• Continuously monitor all aspect of team performance, equipment operation and production to ensure quality is maintained and production goals are met

• Serve as the Cleanroom operations subject matter expert to troubleshoot issues impacting quality and production goals to ensure defects are detected and resolved and prevented

• Escalate issues and share recommendations and solutions

• Write and revise standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed

• Train Cleanroom personnel in their daily tasks and ensure conformance

• Perform necessary housekeeping to support clean room operations

• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance as required on equipment. 

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• 5+ years in manufacturing or 3+ years of military service

• Ability to handle up to 50 pounds with physical dexterity to operate the equipment

• Ability to maintain charts, graphs and production reports in Word and Excel

• US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Technical Certificate or higher

• Previous Cleanroom experience

• Eagerness to learn new tasks, skills, concepts and applications

• Attention to detail and strong visual inspection skills

• Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
